That's what I expected, but there were close to a hundred files of all
kinds - .o, .py, Makefiles and others, including a number of source
files. Ittook me a bit of carefulpicking, but I think I got them all.
Next time I'll be sure to use an empty directory from the start.

Unfortunately, after it comes up and identifies the printer, it then
aborts with a segmentation fault. Shortly after that a "System error
has occurred" window attributing this ti setup.py and asking if I want
toreport the error or no. I always do. Looks like this (in the
terminal window - I set it to run in graphics mode one of the first
few times and it always does so now):

$ hp-setup

Here's what it does in interactive mode:

$ hp-setup -i

The typo is from hp-setup - kind of funny...

Still, the scanner works better than ever since I upgraded my hardware
about a year ago and had to install Xubuntu 21.10 (20.04 and 21.05
couldn't handle the CPU and video card I put in). I'm on 22.04.1 now
and it runs quite well, especially now that the scanner is working
better.

Thanks.
