GNOME drops mailing lists end of this month

Without wanting to be a nuisance (any more than I may already be
regarded as such), in going to the web page at
https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo
to find what other lists will be impacted, I also found that this
involves the mailing lists for gnumeric (the spreadsheet), and, much
more troubling (although, I was not previously aware of a mailing list
for it), Network Manager, that manages the network connections, applying
to most Linux distributions, I believe.
Whilst the new, replacement gimp-users mailing list is progressively
growing, I am wondering how many new mailing lists will be needed, to
replace the many mailing lists being shut down by gnome.
