Hi,

I suspect that Windows 11 is too new, to find much multi-boot reports.
What happens to the bootloader after a "cumulative" Windows update or
after a Windows auto-repair startup?

I wonder if somebody subscribed to the list has got experiences with an
Ubuntu Windows 11 dual-boot. I'm running Windows 11 as guest in a VM on
a Linux host. Installing Windows 11 is not that straightforward as
installing Windows 10 or Windows 7, the reason for this much likely has
got impact on a dual-boot with Ubuntu.

My Windows 11 guest is very large:

[rocketmouse at archlinux ~]$ /usr/bin/ls -hAl /mnt/winos11/winos11/winos11.vdi
-rw------- 1 rocketmouse rocketmouse 552G Oct 17 11:33 /mnt/winos11/winos11/winos11.vdi

I can't make a test install of a dual-boot, since I don't have enough
space to restore from a snapshot and I need this guest for production
purpose. Restoring from a backup, is a way to time consuming task for me
at the moment.

Regards,
Ralf
