Good Morning,

The root cause was an overloaded GPU. Just to stuf running (4 work
spaces, Two 24' Dell Monitors, Thunderbird Mail, 4 Firefox Browsers, two
spread sheets, GnuCash, and Stock Market Eye, all up and running
locally. One remote connection to another system via ssh is running as well

I replaced the GPU with a EVGA GEFORCE GTA and so far things are working.

During my research I ran across a tool called nvidia-detector, which
runs from the command line, that shows what drivers are required for the
installed hardware. The recommended driver was nvidia-driver-515. I
installed that and all of the modules that were indicated by snyaptic,

Currently my system is running fine.

OS info:
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID:	Ubuntu
Description:	Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
Release:	22.04
Codename:	jammy

Cheers,
Jay
