If the distro doesn't use X, how does it run IceWM, Fluxbox or JWM?
Do you know why it is named "AntiX"? To my knowledge it isn't for
"without X". What is "tuned" for in this context? There isn't much to
tune apart from enabling PAE or to decrease the kernel size at the
expense of decreasing hardware compatibility too and the virtual memory
management does cause longer access times. IOW the term "tuned" can be
replaced by "patchwork" and "loss of hardware support". To what extent
is another init system an advantage over systemd on weak hardware?

No doubt the OP should test an Ubuntu server install or distribution
intended for use on obsolete hardware, but without setting high
expectations for anything.
