Yes, that's the hp-devicesettings program. It's one of those I said
would be listed if you type hp-<tab><tab>

Yes, you have to install each printer in turn first.

You're running Kubuntu, I think. I'd be interested to know what the most
recent plain Ubuntu (or Mint) make of your printers. Are they both USB?
