Help with sendmail

I am trying to set masquerading in sendmail (20.04)
I modify sendmail.mc to add the masquerading lines...
I run sendmailconfig - I see the sendmail.cf generate ....
I anwer Y to restart sendmail.
but its like its not using sendmail.cf file ???

sendmail.cf has the line which is the masquerade line - and it has the
right value.

Why or what could I possible have wrong ?
