I think that Ubuntu favours AppArmor in place of SELinux. Installing
both is probably a bad plan and I suspect that they will conflict.

Just a guess...

Have you run

sudo snap refresh

? I have added that on to the end of my global-system-update command
now, to do it daily.

It now reads:

# apt update ; apt full-upgrade -y ; apt clean ; apt purge ; apt
autoremove -y ; snap refresh ; flatpak update
