Firefox nolonger supports ftp:// ?

Yeah, I normally don't use ftp for much, but do have an anon ftp server deamon 
running on my server, since forever (I have a http:// "mirror" of the 
/var/ftp/pub tree also on that server). (I use ssh to upload files to my 
server.)  I just installed filezilla, which is probably something of an 
overkill.
