No - just following the suggestions when it didn't work. Originally, I
used whatever driver Ubuntu wanted to use, and it worked for years. No
inertia there... :-)

Works quite well using Apple - any # of pages, even double sided. No
inertia there either. :-)

I'm assuming Kubuntu would use this if I just let it choose when adding
a printer. Are you saying it would choose the wrong driver? Do I have to
do something different or tell it the exact method of adding this
particular printer? If so, what is that?
