FWIW Android has got less to do with Linux. It's based on a Linux
kernel, but has got a different infrastructure. Some proprietary parts
might be an advantage to e.g. provide good Bluetooth support, but OTOH
Android devices aren't real-time audio capable. A Linux computer is
real-time audio capable.

However, Bluetooth seems to be tricky by design. For example using
Bluetooth MIDI devices is usually no issue for iPadOS, but still not
supported by all audio apps running on iPadOS.
