If you just want to view the pictures locally, then you can use xzgv or 
other image viewers.

If you want to make albums like facebook that you can see in a web 
browser then you can use album or fgallery.

Album seems a bit more old school in look. But it seems faster.

Fgallery seems to require a web server, and you can't view the html 
directly from the files.
