Can you boot from USB flash drive? This live distro claims it can be
written to both optical disc or USB stick. It will let you run GPartEd and
other things, too. See here:-

I have used other live Linux distros to run GPartEd.
There is a very small live GPartEd distro available here for optical disc
or USB flash drive: https://gparted.org/
