My recommendation is to install Ubuntu and after that to set up an
audio, graphics, video, photo workstation yourself.
I've taken a look at https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-studio-users/2022-December/date.html .
There was no attempt to help you at all.
I've also taken a look at
https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-studio-users/2022-November/date.html
and noticed that Mr. Eickmeyer recommends to buy Ardour.
See
https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-studio-users/2022-November/011815.html
for more on this:
"Enjoy Ardour 7.1! If you find it useful, please consider downloading
and paying for the official package from Ardour themselves
<https://community.ardour.org/download?platform=linux&architecture=x86_64&type=compiled&paymentSelection=options>.
They more than deserve it!"
While I agree that it's fair to pay for useful software, this does
include Ardour, if you like it, it's IMO completely inappropriate to
offer unsolicited sales by an Ubuntu falvour project leader via an
official Ubuntu users mailing list.
Is this list for user support or for sales unrelated to Ubuntu?
