There is a phrase for this sort of question on Stack Overflow, but I
can't offhand remember it. It comes with a warning: work out what the
asker is really trying to achieve, rather than just answering their
question, because askers often get in a mess because they are doing
something that they shouldn't really do.

For Linux newbies -- and I am not saying you are one! -- a common
question is "how do I install a program I downloaded?"

The best answer is: don't download programs. Use the distro's software
manager instead.  Answering the question gets them in trouble.

So, your question... you have had no answers and that may be because
you're asking a weird question.

So I will try, but I am not going to answer your question. I am going
to ask one.

You said in your first message you recompile code, build your own
packages, and install them.

Why?
