Latest update breaks zoom

I'm not sure what version we're discussing here, but I'm on Xubuntu
20.04 and I found that zoom was working except that it would not
provide video from my local USB camera.  A reboot didn't work, but I
reinstalled Zoom (same version) and the camera was once again
recognized.  Based upon this discussion, apparently some recent
upgrade broke something.
