Boots normally here on this EFI home-built machine from a USB key made with
the SUSE image writer from an iso obtained via torrent. Image writer seems to
do the job with hybrid and non-hybrid isos
I'm going to do a brave act next week and update my wife's Ubuntu MATE
computer in multi-user.target mode with do-release-upgrade which has always
worked for me in the past. I made the USB for belt-and-braces since the dog
house is mighty cold in early spring.
