you are using the canary image which is for testing the new flutter
based desktop installer ...

it might simply not yet have any zfs support ...
i'd ask in the thread above ...
if you want the actual daily image go to:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/
or for server:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-server/daily-live/current/
