Since you didn't give us any idea of what your requirements are, other
than it not be hugely difficult to install Linux, it's hard to give
advice.  You also didn't say if you want to dual-boot Windows and
Linux.

If you just want Linux, not Windows, you can purchase Dell systems with
Ubuntu pre-installed; that's the simplest way to not bother with things
like "video".
