No Sound on Laptop

Hi All,

I have been trying to get sound working on my laptop. This will be used for
presentations and by the sales and marketing team. Basis resolution of this
issue, I can buy another one in the future.

Intel Celeron Dual Core (Gemini Lake)
4 GB DDR4 RAM
128 SSD M.2
(Default install Win 10, on which sound and video  mic were working )

I have been breaking my head on this issue since 10 Oct 2021.

I am trying to get the sound to work with LinuxMint XFCE 20.x ..Also tried
AVLinux ... same issue.

Apart from Sound, Video and Mic are also giving me issues.

Tried alsamixer, card shows up as Intel PCH HDMI. When I press 'M' it works
by showing MM, but [00] s/pdif values dont increase with arrow key.

Tried PulseAudio, no luck. Added 'options' in modprobe ... no spark there.

On 18th Oct 202, I had some time-line to meet, but it has been extended,
giving me time to troubleshoot this issue.

I request someone / all, :) , from the group to guide me in getting the
sound working.
