A few days ago I learned by a first aid course, that "Spannung" of a
defibrillator is high, but the "Volts" are low. Translated by my limited
English skills it's "voltage is high, but voltage is low". Actually the
German "Spannung" and the German "Volt" are different words for the "V"
in Ohm's law. In Germany "Spannung" and "Volt" are different words for
the "U" in the "Ohmsches Gesetz".

In my limited experience there are valid reasons to be
super-extra-paranoid ;), see above.
