The screenshot that did not make it, has a size of 35kB.

The message limit size on the mailing list, is 40kB.

My reply to my message that included the screenshot, was 2.2kB, when
sent to the list, and. 6.6kB, when received from the list.

The distribution by the list, consequently, adds 4.4kB to a message
posted by the list.

I cannot post the screenshots that show the above information, as the
posting of the screenshots, is prohibited, as demonstrated.

The screenshot that was posted by the list, but, stopped by the
message size maximum limit, was captured by, and, cropped with, the
"Take Screenshot" application, that has an image of a camera in front
of a display window, in the applications panel ("mate-screenshot
--interactive"). That is the application that I use, for taking
screenshots.

I have sent a request to the list administrators, to increase the
allowed maximum message size from 40kB to 100kB, to allow for such
small attachments, which attachments, as in this case, are
contextually appropriate.

How the list administrators respond to my request, "is yet to be seen".
