You could try Lightworks, Hollywood quality NLE, there is a free and a
paid one version (monthly, yearly or out right). The differences being
the export capabilities, the free one is limited to 720p
and the paid  one the limit is removed. It also runs on windows and
Mac. 


I have been using it with Ubunbtu studio since about 2014 probably the
easiest to use and feature full for linux.
