Hi,

given that hardware support by Linux is always a PITA, I suspect that
Linux doesn't support Bluetooth hardware very well, too. I never even
considered to pair any of my Bluetooth devices with a Linux PC, just for
testing purpose.

You are probably used to pulseaudio{,-bluetooth}.

Did you read common Wiki pages?

Maybe https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bluetooth (last edited 2017),

pointer?
