Simplest is:
sudo blkid /dev/YourDiskPartition...
Result should contain: TYPE="crypto_LUKS"
And your boss should know enough to understand what it means...

That line only shows, that somewhere LUKS is being used.
In 99% of possible installments, that's not enough: far too simple pwd, multiple OS'es....
So those line ar at best misleading.
And "your boss should know..": come on, you're joking!
