Misleading YouTube video raspi ubuntu

I was talking about networks connections and static ip address.

If you want a smooth setup then first boot should be with a cable.

Then follow the aforementioned
netplan examples link.

The youtube video instructions are  INCORRECT for setting up static ip
address.


You should create a separate file
sudo nano /etc/netplan/anyname.yaml

Then run  sudo netplan apply.

then reboot you will have  a static ip address of your choice you setup and
the wifi connection will be made on that static ip address.
