Maybe, maybe not. I don't know. However, in some cases even using some
"problematic" proprietary operating systems, not necessarily is the
most worst idea. I always prefer to get more knowledge about a
domain related to FLOSS, before I decide to chose a "problematic"
proprietary operating system, in favour of FLOSS. Actually some of my
needs are satisfied by Linux distros and FreeBSD, while a few domains
require different operating systems.
This is off-topic related to panel clock issue, but it doesn't harm to
become more comfortable with alternative solutions that are possible
when using FLOSS. To me Apple and Co. is the very last resort, hence I
try to get the best results possible to my abilities, by learning more
about Ubuntu and other Linux distros or BSD.
