Favorite on Launcher

I cannot offer any help, especially as I assume you are using GNOME
and I do not have it installed... but I can tell you that I
experienced the same sort of problems pinning MS Word 97 to the
launcher in Unity, from v14.04 to v18.04.

In the end I just left a link on the desktop. :-(
