When scaling a photo, a lot of viewers running on Linux do a very poor
job already when using "normal" monitors. On Linux there's a tendency to
chose fast scaling, over high quality scaling and often there isn't even
a setting to chose what kind of scaling should be used. It's just a
minor issue when watching photos intended for computer usage, but it's a
PITA when taking a look at 24.2 megapixels photos made with a decent
camera and decent lenses.
