resolved (somehow) Re: Kernel 5.11.xx not booting, need to fallback to 5.8

now I do not even get the blinking cursor..

I do get lots of lines scrolling by before the screen goes dark.

but when I close and reopen the lid it eventually shows the login prompt.

I can live with that
