I don't know much about video but this seems odd.

You can also try:

glxinfo | less

On the 2nd or so screen you should find the driver in use.

Another test: run `nvidia-settings`

It simply won't run if you're not using the nVidia driver.

Looks all right to me.

I think that's quite an old kernel.
