recovering an old truecrypt encrypted disk

Hello,


I have a drive that years ago I encrypted with truecrypt full disk 
encryption.


Of course I forgot the password, so I am trying to see if I can recover 
it, for example using truecrack (which won't compile on Ubuntu 20.04).


Any ideas on how to make an attempt to do that?
