I tend to use dict.cc by a browser first and if still needed, I use the
Google search engine, so I get back a result by Google Translate and a
link to Linguee.

"a calculate" should read "a calculator"
In my "use those apps in the first place" folder are:
dict.cc
Linguee
DeepL Translate
In the "use this app only as a last resort" folder is:
Google Translate
As already pointed out, usually I'm not using those apps. I tend to use
a browser. However, at least dict.cc and Linguee provide to download
dictionaries for offline use.
By short tests the https://www.deepl.com/translator app worked better
than the Google Translate app.
Btw. since we are comparing software, time to take a look at latest
Marble vs latest Google Earth Pro.
Marbel does use a little bit outdated sources, see attached screenshot.
