Yeah, it *looks* like evince, except it does not try to be its own window
manager. It also works about as poorly. I am dealing with a giant, very high
res PDF and xpdf actually allows me to zoom way in with zoom factors going up
to 1600%, as compared to the max of 125% with evince and atril.
