autoinstall launguage screen pops up

HI - I have made my custom CD - for autoinstall... All going well except
the LAUNGUAGE selection that pops up. How do I get rid of that ???

I have tried:
echo en > /cdrom/isolinux/lang

on the boot line:
debian-installer/language=en

Neither seem to have effect on the menu screen.
