I'm running 21.04 on my laptop, and I have "libcrypto.so.1.1". It's
provided by "libssl1.1". In 20.04, you can search for "libssl" or
"libssl1".

On Fedora, "libcrypto.so.10" is provided by a compat openssl package
that provides openssl v1.0.x, as opposed to the default openssl
v1.1.y.

Isn't there an Ubuntu-provided executable?

[ FTR, unlike rpm/yum/dnf, dpkg/apt don't allow file dependencies, so
the db that "apt-cache" ("apt search" is basically "apt-cache search",
in the same way that "dpkg -l" is "dpkg-query -l") doesn't hold the
contents of packages. So you can't run the equivalent of "yum
whatprovides <file>" or "dnf provides <file>". You can install
"apt-file" and run "apt-file update" (different db...) to search for
the package that provides a file. ]
