I am preparing my Ubutntu Mate 18.04 laptop for upgrading to 20.04
So I have run a number of apt update / apt upgrade / apt autoremove commands and
also used the GUI "Software Updater" application via the desktop.
When I rebooted the system I received an error message when logging on (via
VNC):
"Sorry, Ubuntu 18.04 has experienced an internal error."
It seems to be caused by /usr/bin/marco (whatever that is..)
The package is "marco 1.20.1-2ubuntu1"
Problem: Crash with signal 5
ApportVersion: 2.20.9-0ubuntu7.21
etc etc
What can I do now to get the system "clean" for dist upgrade?
