What tools to work with pkgs installed thru snap system

If the packages are available, yes. Some may not be. You may need to
use external repos.

I use UbuntuZilla for Seamonkey but you could get the latest Firefox
as a .DEB package from there. You can get Chrome from Google.

Expect a bit of work initially getting everything going at first.

After that, should be no different.
