Then your understanding is incorrect. .tw means it is in TaiWan, and .com means it is a COMmercial site in the .tw domain.

Read it backwards: Taiwan, commercial, Clevo.

Not really, no. That just means it is the American site.
American site? Rgeb it would have to be "clevo.com.us."
DOT-COM is  NOT usa-only. Just like DOT-ORG
