vinagre

I am using vinagre to connect from ubuntu 20.04 to a CentOS 7.9 box -
It does not successful connect.

I get the prompt for the PW - but all it says is Authentication failure.

Is there a trick to get this to connect ?
I can successfully connect to another 20.04 box.
