I can't really advise re EU places -- all the ones I know are in the UK.

I endorse the general advice in this article:
https://tedium.co/2019/06/04/used-workstation-computer-buying-strategy/

There are some good small-form-factor workstations out there; some
friends of mine bought Dual Xeon Lenovo Thinkcentre boxes based on
this a couple of years ago and they like them.

I do not even know the Italian for "bankrupt" or "surplus stock" but I
would guess there are some such places.

In the UK, I used to recommend:

https://www.tier1online.com/

https://www.bargainhardware.co.uk/

But none will help you in the EU now. :-(

I do not like or recommend Dell kit, myself. I have little experience
with Lenovo _desktops_ but they are definitely my recommended _laptop_
make.

OTOH, if you like your NUC, buy a newer NUC?

I have got a lot of stuff from this company in the UK -- its founders
were friends of mine.

See if there is a branch near you?
