Question about installation procedure of 21.04

I tend to agree, but there may be another culprit: When I tried to 
install 21.04 on an old HP Pavilion (BIOS only) from an USB stick that 
was 'burned' with Ubuntu's "Startup Disk Creator" the screen went blank, 
only displaying: "GRUB". Very informative...

However, after several failed attemps with checksums OK etc., I burned 
the 21.04 iso via "Unetbootin". And voilá: the installation proceeded 
with only one hiccup: it complained about a missing EFI partition, 
telling me that I might encounter problems. I ignored that, and the 
install finished and everything runs like a charm.
