Try disable any addons and let see how if you are still have same issue
then uninstall (I think better to purge it) and re-install. If you still
have same issue.. maybe some malicious script backdoor somewhere inside
your machine
If you like to give a try new browser, go and use Brave browser. It made
by the co-founders of the Mozilla project, it blocks ads and trackers
that slow you down and invade your privacy. (that what they said, i use
chromium btw)
