Change dd Block Size to 1m or larger.
A power drill will leave data fragments that are recoverable.
Disassembly and melting of the platters is more thorough ;-)
The gap between theory and practice is rather wide.
Dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/whatever bs=4m should be good for most intents &
purposes.
The Hopelessly Curiosity Dept. What is on this drive that a non-NSA person
is trying to get rid of? Please do not answer ;-)
