Children learning to ride a bicycle go down the middle of the road by
default, but when you learn to drive, you learn that you have to keep
to one side.
Note that I am replying from a Gmail address. This is trivial to work
around. Hit Ctrl-A to select all; this expands the quoted text. Move
to the bottom, trim signatures etc., reply.
It helps if you select Plain Text as default in the Gmail settings.
