evolution popmail is blocked by gmail OAuth2 security

Oh.. never mind. I misread what you said.
I ran six accounts thru gmail with thunderbird and
in the past only pop would work. Never good get
imap to work.
I just installed Thunderbird and set it up to check
email. I used my std gmail password, I do have 2
step on so it notified me via my phone, I was right
in. Took all of a min. It did get all my mail folder, etc.
I really wish it was this easy in the past :) It setup
to imap by default - probably because its on as I
check from my phone.
Question: could it be your internet connection?
Even fast connections can have high latency.
