Kubuntu on M2 PCIe disk?

The most important information here is something you do not give:

On what make/model of computer?

Does it have an M2 interface?

If yes, and your firmware is current, it should be no problem.

If no, then it could be tricky and I'd suggest a SATA SSD instead.
