hrome is a native Linux app, for example. So is Google Earth.
It has done in the past. As per the above, there still are some. But
not many and it's not its focus. E.g. there is no official Google
Drive client for Linux.
But bear in mind that Google has its own distro, ChromeOS, which is
the most-used desktop Linux in the world by about 2 orders of
magnitude -- it has hundreds of millions of users, maybe more,
depending on how many people are using old ChromeBooks, and if you
count CloudReady and so on. And ChromeOS is built around the principle
that _you don't need local apps_. That a web browser, and minimalistic
tools for local file management, are enough for non-power-users.
