Mouse touchpad (was Re: Cannot encrypt archive?)

Hi,

I do not know if this helps, but ...  I had an HP Pavilion notebook a 
few years ago and there was a keystroke on the keyboard that controlled 
ON / OFF of the touchpad.  Since it was a built in feature of the 
notebook, it didn't matter what OS you used.  I would check in the 
instruction manual that comes with the notebook.  If that is not an 
option, try the manufactures website.
