Sony Vaio VPCEB1Z1E

I've found the Sony support page for the Vaio VPCEB1Z1E, but there
isn't any firmware. There are some "update programs", but it's all for
Windows. Searching on packages.ubuntu.com for "firmware sony" /
"firmware vaio" didn't work either.

Sorry, I've searched for 15 minutes and couldn't find out, what the
Control Panel is.

There is a program called "Anwendungen und Aktualisierungen"
(applications and upgrades) which has a tab called "Zusätzliche
Treiber" (additional drivers), but it says "No additional drivers are
available". At the bottom there is "Es werden keine prorietären Treiber
verwendet" (No propriatary drivers are used.).

Done, but no effect.

I've just installed Ubuntu 20.04, over WLAN. No problems during the
installation procedure.

The laptop has a blue "Fn" key, and you can change the volume with a
keyboard combination. When pressed, "Dummy-Ausgabe" (dummy output) is
shown. Is this a sign that some firmware is missing?

Bye,
